7 foot equatorial sextant with a telescopic sight designed for the old Royal Observatory by John Flamsteed (1646-1719).
On right of anterior view plate is the top of exterior of the Octagon Room at Flamsteed House, Greenwich.
Posterior view plate shows gearing for aligning sextant.
