Copperplate engraving strip map of the route from London to Aberystwyth. From Thomas Gardner's small-scale edition of John Ogilby's Britannia, "The Pocket-Guide for the English Traveller", 1719. This plate, from London to Oxford, is the first of three making the route from London to Aberystwyth.
