Description

A brown leather case containing a Paxette 35 mm. camera by Braun, Nümberg, with Staeble-Kata lens (no. 407906). The case has a copper alloy snap button fastener at the back to close it and a long, thin leather strap attached to the sides. The interior is lined with burgundy velvet and there is a lens cap for the camera. There is a small copper alloy plaque underneath the button flap that provides information the light levels and timings of the camera. A steel screw in the centre of the base is used to hold the camera in place inside the case. The camera is made from steel and partially covered with fish skin. There are two dials on the top and a small label on the back with a name and address.
