Description
Augsburg type with gilt eight-sided base, hour ring and hinged quadrant with traces of silver on the undersides, silvered-brass compass dial and circular inset beneath base with names of towns and their latitudes. In octagonal paper and leather case with red silk lining but with the lid missing.
