Description

Augsburg type, gilt eight-sided base, silvered-brass compass dial and silvered-brass inclinometer with its plumbob missing. A brass windvane in the guise of a dragon has been attached to the gnomon, but this probably does not belong to this instrument. Brass circular inset in base with names of towns and their latitudes.
