Description

Presumably for the English-speaking market. 1a printed latitude table beginning with American cities; 1b printed and coloured vertical string-gnomon dial, with points marked for 34-56°; 2a inset compass with printed and coloured card and printed and coloured horizontal string-gnomon dial for 55, 50 and [45?]°; 2b blank. One hook for fastening upper leaf open (missing), another to close.
