Description

Navigator's double T-frame with index and horizon glasses, each with shades; scale divided on platinum; Vernier with clamp, tangent screw, microscope with diffuser glass, and bubble level; 4 sighting tubes; handle; four eyepieces, each with different coloured lenses; and a small screw head. Housed in a hinged, lockable keystone case. Inside the case are supports for the instrument and accessories, and Kew Observatory examination certificates for 1890, 1892, 1894.
