Brass globe of two hemispheres joined at the equator (soldering visible), with constellations and silver-dotted stars. Horizon ring with four supports, one of which has holes at 10 degree intervals to allow the globe to be set for latitude. The globe has pairs of holes at the equatorial and ecliptic poles, as well as an additional, unexplained pair of holes. There are latitude circles rising from the ecliptic to the ecliptic poles.
