Description
Rectangular wooden base supporting four trial variometers. From front to back, left to right:
(1) Cylindrical cork(?) base supporting two rectangular mica sheets with rectangular windows, adorned with various metal components;
(2) metal pole supporting a circular wooden disk adorned with mica and metal components;
(3) Cylindrical metal and wooden base supporting a metal pole with a sphere composed of 6 mica semi-circles with holes in them, adorned with metal components;
(4) metal pole supporting a metal cylinder containing smaller metal components. Paper label tacked to wooden based, inscription: "Trial Variometers. Nov: 1923 - Feb: 1924."
