Given to the donor's father by Lord Nuffield's chauffeur and said to have been used by Lord Nuffield (1877-1963).
Dome-shaped galvanometer. Wooden base with metal workings and covered with green coated, synthetic material casing. Inscription - "General Electric Co. Ltd. No. 3389 1917".
