Description

Wooden rule with printed paper scales covering the obverse and a lengthy printed explanatory text on the reverse (slightly trimmed). The heading of the reverse is partly missing through the shaping of the wooden stock but there is a sub-heading "Exhibited in the use of Dr. Wollaston's Logometrical Scale. | [Published by Mr CUFF, Old Bond-street {illegible}].
