Case and Hood for Clock by George Wentworth, c.1735

Tall 8-day longcase clock with a peaked top and two decorative spheres with points, on either side. Underneath is the curved hood with a glass window in the front for the clock face and glass windows on both side panels, so that the mechanism inside can be seen, the hood is flanked by a wooden pillar on each of the four corners. On the main body is a door to the inner workings.
