Description

The primary coil this instrument has a resistance of about 1 ohm, the secondary about 130 ohms. A battery supplying current to the primary is connected to the terminals on the top platform, the circuit is interrupted by hand-worked contact breaker (star wheel and spring), and the greatly magnified output voltage is delivered to the terminal on the base board.
