Description
Wooden box with leather and metal handle and metal pull-down lever closing mechanism. Four metal feet to the base. Box joints. Two hinges to the rear. A metal label is screwed into the top of the lid with Marconi makers mark and meter number 1026/4. Inside the meter reads "FREQUENCY METER TF.1026/4 No. 5518814 MARCONI INSTURMENTS LTD. MADE IN ENGLAND. A rubber and copper cord on the interior of the lid appears to be missing. The dial on the interior is protected by green wool pads. The lid is held in place with a fabric strip.
