- Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) is a research collaboration between Mahidol University (Thailand), Oxford University (UK) and the Wellcome Trust. It conducts clinical trials and public health research that aim to discover and develop appropriate, affordable interventions that measurably improve the health of people living in resource-limited parts of the world. During the COVID pandemic, the team identified gaps in knowledge around COVID-19 transmission and prevention and used this to produce videos and educational materials for healthcare workers, the public and school children.
