26-part photo-retouching kit contained in a wooden case with a folding lid that has two struts to keep it open at a 60 degree angle when the case is open and with a central glass window with a shutter on the inside. Booklet titled "Velox Transparent Water Colour Stamps", containing light yellow, deep yellow, flesh tint, brilliant red, scarlet, warm brown, foliage green, deep green, light blue, dark blue, violet and stone grey stamps. A deep green coloured card box titled "Hardtmuth's "Artists'" Retouching Set" contains a double-ended pencil-shaped eraser, two pencils with the graphite mounted in metal nibs and with triangular handles and a lidded wooden tube with four thin graphite sticks. Four pencils, two grey and two brown. Paint brush with large bushy head of black horsehair. Roll of adhesive tape. Roll of dark green picture binding tape. Lidded ceramic container with brown pigment titled: "Prepared Ox Gall", accompanied by a ceramic dish for mixing pigments. Red square tin with rounded corners. Pin on wooden square shaft. Double-ended pointed stick. Metal tool with long flat handle and cross-section-of-tube tip. Four strips of black velvet. Wooden block with a Chinese-style painting of a gold plant with blue flowers on a black background. Wooden block with curved copper alloy strip attached at a right angle and a copper alloy bracket attached at the other end on the other side. Section of thin graphene stick. Cork with pin in one end. Sheet of sand paper. Square sheet of card advertising "Backward and Forward | An Original Topical Revue".
