Description

240V incandescent lamp bulb with copper alloy bayonet fitting. Translucent glass. Has a thin wire spiral filament. "Sylvania 100 W 240 V" is inscribed on the top of the bulb.

Part of a collection of home-made apparatus, and some other items, belonging to the late Edmund John Bowen (1898-1980), selected from his workshop at 10 Park Town, Oxford (where he lived from c.1932).
