Description
Wooden box with leather handle and metal fittings containing potentiometer with Cropico battery and 2 instruction pamphlets; from the Cryogenics department of the Department of Engineering Science. Pamphlets entitled "Cambridge Instructions for the use and care of Portable Pentometer Type no. 44228" and "Cambridge Thermocoule Characteristics". Cylindrical grey metal battery, labelled CROPICO type P3/s. With 24 circular holes. The top has 4 Bakelite dials - one red, two green and one black. A cable also comes out of the top with a fixing on the end.
