Verge escapement with balance-wheel to which weights have been added at diametrically opposite points on the rim (probably originally with a dumb-bell foliot); fusee with gut; ratchet and click mainspring regulator (replacement); 24-hour dial with couch pins for ordinary Italian hours; single hand.
