Description

A pasteboard drum compound microscope with a rectangular box containing accessories.

Pasteboard drum with a brass spring-stage. The drum is covered in decorated paper, has a window above the stage over which is the word BURUCKER in gold lettering. The are two marks on the body tube labelled N.5 and N6 in ink. The drum houses the field lens.

Pasteboard body tube containing a field lens, which has wooden fittings for the eyepiece and objective. The are two marks on the body tube labelled N.5 and N6 in ink.

Wooden attachment which screws into the body tube. The dust cover screws onto this attachment.

Wooden dust cap.

Wooden and brass-mounted objective which screws onto the body tube.
