The body is carried on a rack and pinion operated by two mill-edged knobs. The square stage has a mechanical bracket to hold slides. Movement is followed on two Vernier scales. An Abbé condenser, with a variable aperture is fitted below the stage. It can be focused or swung from under the stage hole as required. A pivoting arm below the stage holds the plano-concave mirror. The accessories comprise two eyepieces, three condenser apertures with a nickel plated mount, two glass disks and four objectives.
