Description

The microscope comprises a glass specimen bottle held in a brass collar. Light may be shone though a brass tube at right angles to the bottle and the contents viewed though an eyepiece in a split brass ring opposite. The collar is supported on an arm carried by a vertical brass rod by means of a clamp screw. The rod is set in a boss fastened to a brass ring on the lead-weighted base.
