Description

The circular copper alloy Bonanni stage stands on three turned copper alloy legs on a turned wooden base. Around the periphery of the stage are fittings for accessories. Three short turned copper alloy legs are mounted on the stage, spaced between the points the lower legs attach. These legs support the pasteboard body, remnants of orignal newspaper used in construction of pasteboard is visible on inside of body tube. A concave mirror in a horseshoe mount is set at the centre of the base.

Lignum vitae and copper alloy sliding dust cover for the eyepiece.

Conical shaped eyepiece fitting, made of lignum vitae, containing viewing lens.

Draw tube covered in green vellum, with a shagreen edging and decorated with gold floralstamps.

Objective lens in wooden mount.

Spring mounting for slides, which can be inserted over the stage hole.
