Description

The brass body tube carries an eyepiece consisting of two plano-concave lenses. The body tube is held in place by a brass sleeve fastened to a brass limb mounted on a pillar rising from the Ross-type tripod.

A brass plate fits on the stage to hold slides. This is held in place with steel strips and two patches of maroon floc-covered paper prevent the stage from being scratched.

3The lower end of the body is fitted with an immersion objective by R and J Beck with a covered/uncovered correction collar. (.4)
