Screwbarrel Microscope, 18th Century

Fitted wooden case covered in black fish skin and lined in green velvet. The case contains five objective lenses, a copper alloy handle with a threaded ring, an ivory handle with a copper alloy thread, copper alloy forceps, an ivory talc box with mica disks, stage forceps on a steel pin with a black and white disc, a scalpel with an ivory handle and a black paper case with a copper alloy wet cell and four ivory sliders.
