Description
Instrument has a wooden barrel shaped body which has been coated in leather. Instrument's objective lens is mounted in a copper alloy barrel attached to main body of instrument. Eyepiece is mounted in a copper alloy body which screws into longer copper alloy tube, this tube screws into ferrule mounted on wooden draw tube. Eyepiece has a detachable, threaded dust cover. Name 'C.Hoskins' has been marked by hand in two places on barrel.
