Bent-Tube Barometer, Thermometer and Perpetual Calendar, by F. Watkins, London, Mid-18th Century

Veneer wooden framework with shaped wood pediment at the top. Central glazed panel behind which paper perpetual calendar layout and with clockwork mechanism on the reverse side. Dog leg barometer tube, to the right, is undamaged but contents of lower section appear as a yellow/green precipitate. Silvered copper alloy scales for the top section of the barometer and one for the alcohol thermometer. Glazed central barometer dial.
