Description
Long copper alloy tube surmounted with a wooden housing, with copper alloy chart with scale + inscription 'J. Long 43 Eastcheap, London'. Appears to have a wooden handle at the top and a conical spike at the bottom. Glass can runs from the bottom to the top and still contains mercury. Two corks are visible around the base of the glass cane. Channel running down the back of the wood as if it could be slid onto something or something attached. Has a working, functional feel about it.
