Description
A large wooden cylinder that sits on a square wooden platform that supports a copper alloy bell with glass viewing windows. Inside the bell sits a large compass, mounted on a series of gyroscopic stabilisers. Mounted on either side of the exterior of the wooden cylinder are large metal balls which can be unscrewed. There is a smaller copper alloy cylinder mounted on the back of the wood. There is a small glass faced clinometer on the front of the wooden cylinder.
