Stand for compound microscope. Stand has a tripod shaped base with two supports holding a stage plate with circular aperture and space for aperture disc. A pillar is raised and lowered via rackwork on the pillar's reverse. A limb at the top of the pillar holds a body tube with an attached objective. A screw thread at the body tube's top allows for further barrels or an eyepiece to be attached.
