Description

Simple microscope. A square pillar with a circular base that screws into a thread on the case lid has a rack and pinion mechanism that takes the rack-focussing circular stage. The mahogany case has a hinged lid with a clasp and navy blue velvet padding in the underside of the lid. The case also contains three bone sliders, four objectives, a rotating mirror in a horseshoe mount and a live box.
