Description

Simple dissecting microscope, stored in wooden box with two swing clasps. Interior of box has green felt and wooden dividers.

Copper alloy microscope with right angle return at base. Angle section is coated in green enamel. Base of tube unscrews to reveal objective.

Also in box is: a set of three objectives, one objective is stored in a screw top case, remaining two consist of one conical shape objective and one straight cylindrical objective.

Two rulers, one ruler is yellow and has a scale from 0-12cm. Second ruler is made of bone and measures both inches and cm.

Set of six fountain pen nibs wrapped in folded rectangle of fabric.

Wooden microscope slide with glass circle housed in centre. Slide is decorated with a red and gold geometric pattern.

Glass slide with blackened seal around central circle. Slide contains example of aortic disease and has a handwritten paper label explaining its contents.

Eyepiece held inside screw top case. Eyepiece itself screws onto underside of case lid.
