Description
The lamp stands on a three-footed flat base. A square pillar protrudes from one of the feet, with a clamp and tightening screw and another tightening screw at the top. Above the base is a shallow rectangular metal box. At its centre is a rotating lens. Positioned next to the lens is the burner and above it is the chimney of the lamp, supported by a ring on the end of a thick curved wire.
The wooden case has a hinged door with a locking mechanism. The lower-left section of the door has two postage stamp labels.
