Telescope Case For Equatorial Instrument with Accessories

A mahogany telescope case for an equatorial instrument. The case has a hinged lid, two swing clasp fastenings and a lock mechanism. Inside, the case has wooden supports, some of which are covered with green felt. Inside the case are: two eyepieces; a lens cap; a lead-filled clamp ring with a mill-edged screw fastening; a wooden stop mounted on a collar; four rectangular pieces of glass in a paper envelope; a set of three screw heads; and the key for the case.
