Description

The copper alloy body screws into a disk set in the back plate. The rectangular mirror is mounted on the rear of this assembly. A wing nut on the front of the plate rotates the disc to adjust the position of the mirror. A Steel rod with an arm at one end passes through the disk to control the angle of the mirror. The slide carrier screws onto the other end of the body tube. It consists of an outer cylinder with two rectangular sections cut away and a threaded hole in the end to take a projection lens. A rack and pinion, for focusing, extends the outer cylinder from an inner cylinder that holds the stage and an third, spring mounted, cylinder. The stage is two disks that are pushed together by the spring cylinder. The accessories are six projection lenses, two shutter screws, copper alloy wet cell and two Ivory sliders. The fitted wooden case has green felt facing some of the supports.
