Description

A brass microscope with two wooden handles and a cylindrical case.

A microscope standing on a support. The support is a flat ring that stands on three feet and supports two vertical rods. The stage is also a flat ring that can slide up and down on the rods. At the top a collar carries a cylinder, holding two lenses, the height of which can be adjusted by a rack and pinion.

The case is a pasteboard drum covered with black leather and green linen on the inside of the lid.
