Description

Illustrates one of the last stages in the development of the pillar clock. The falling weight, inside the case, has attached a horizontal copper alloy bar along which slides a pointer which is set to the month. Circular balance wheel adjustable by sliding weights on a diametrical bar (on the Foliot principle). Wooden case the hood is removable. Key in drawer at the base of the case.
