Description

Rectangular wooden box with a leather strap on the lid, containing four glass bulbs in assorted shapes with metal ends and a cylindrical metal tube with one half wider than the other affixed to the interior of the lid.(Interior of lid is lined with dark purple textile.) The bottom of the box is divided into two sections: one section is covered by a sheet of black plastic with two dials. Inscription of plastic: John Bell & Croyden and Arnold & Sons London W.I." The other section contains a black plastic tube attached to the box by a thick black textile-coated cable and a white coiled textile-coated wire. Metal hook-style latches on either side of the box hold it closed.
