Hearing Aid Belonging to Lord Florey, by Amplivox, Mid 20th Century

Black rectangular wooden box covered with leather. On front, circular hole covered with mesh with metal object behind, plastic dial and inscription "AMPLIVOX" Leather and metal handle on top and rectangular cubby which holds a circular instrument attached to the box with a black cord. The cord has a plastic junction in the middle where it can be separated. Back of box held closed with metal hinges and latches.
