Description

Water-cooled glass tube with copper target and Iron electrodes. Used for crystallographic analysis. With rubber/plastic sheath-type grip. Printed on glass "CA-6 / COOLIDGE TUBE / GE / MADE IN U.S.A." Connection between the two parts of the glass tube is broken. Outer tube is orange with metal components inside. End extends into two poles.

Object has been split into four parts due to breakage:

(1) main glass tube

(2) plastic bag containing broken connection parts

(3) cylindrical tube base with two holes through the centre and blue, circular, paper sticker with "GE" logo

(4) plastic bag containing broken glass from tube.
