Description
A cream card box without a lid containing 32 matchboxes of various makers, some of which still contain matches. The matchboxes include:
A set of 12 Bryant & May matchboxes, all with their matches. The set includes eight decorated with a lake view; two boxes of Ruby Matches; a box of Safety Fuses; and a box of Special Safety Matches.
A set of five United Service Cigar Lights matchboxes, all with their matches. The matchboxes are decorated on each side with a soldier with a flag. The drawers of the matchboxes are covered with either purple, green or blue paper. The matches inside have black heads with a red spot on the end.
Two matchboxes with their matches produced by J. Hynam's. One is a box of wax vestas with wax-covered string matches, the other box is perfumed cigar fuses of card fuses.
