A 12-ft refracting telescope; English. Undated and unsigned; c.1690.
Pasteboard tubes, white vellum covering with gold tooling, eye-piece mounted in lignum vitae. The Huygenian eyepiece consists of two lenses, the first (star-side) one of which is loose (with its split ring fastener).
