Description

Lantern slide format colour photograph; diagonal regular screen is a variant of the early Dufay dioptichrome process. Copy of a portrait of a renaissance youth in red gown and cap, in profile looking right. From miscellaneous early colour photographs of mixed provenance, but possibly attributable to W. A. Casson, who tried the early Dufay processes.
