Three wedges of different lengths, each is a copper alloy frame calibrated in inches, with strip of darkened glass increasing in density; in small wooden box with postal labels. Inscribed on one wedge: "A. HILGER LONDON". Written inside lid 'Three Glass Wedges belonging to University Observatory Oxford' Raffle ticket: '140 Green'.
