Description

Stereoscopic daguerreotype, enclosed in black tape with black mat with curved tops. An elderly man, seated three-quarter length, turned to left, his right hand resting on a book and holding lorgnettes which hang around his neck on a cord or chain; tinted. As well as the photographer's printed label on the back (same wording as 45130) there is an inscription 'J.H.A.C.', presumably the initials of the subject.
