Description

Compass with silvered scale and paper compass card in wooden case with sliding lid. At east end of the compass card there is a brass sighting tube useful in determining azimuths in surveying; and the base is fitted with three brass locking-plates for securing the compass to a stand or plane-table.The compass is automatically locked when the lid is slid into place.
