Albumen print or early gelatine print. Copy of a drawn or engraved cartoon showing Oxford academics depicted as a troupe of acrobats, clowns, and musicians performing outside the Sheldonian Theatre; the faces are real people including Liddell, Rolleston, and Price. Horizontal format. One of 4 photographic copies of Oxford cartoons used by R. T. Gunther in his publications (others are 17203, 35198, 73074); neither the source of the photographs (which look older) nor the whereabouts of the originals are recorded.
