Description

Tall wooden upright standing on a four-legged Iron base. The upright supports numerous glass tubes and flasks. There is a gear system with chains on the proper left side of the upright. One panel can be removed as it is currently held in place with copper alloy swing clasps.

An early example of a Sprengel Mercury Pump, made by Alvergniat frères of Paris.
