Description
Semi-fitted wooden box, with metal clasps and leather strap. Contains 73 3¼-inch square glass lantern slides, in two sequences: 27 collodion photographs of birds and animals, all numbered and labelled in the same hand, and 46 seemingly more modern slides, many labelled 'A.N.H.S.', of various animals with particular emphasis on bats.
