Description
A small simple botanic microscope mounted inside a small folding box. The circular stage and lens mount are of blackened ivory. These are on pivots and position themselves automatically when the instrument is opened out. A set of instructions is pasted inside the lid of the box, and the base of the box is lined with green velvet. The position of the microscope is supported by a chain attaching it to the bottom of the box.
